Hey /g/, i've got some rare command to share for your *nix box:
yes > unlock.cpu.counter.limit
Explanation:
yes > :: writes a boolean 'true' to the next parameter.
unlock.cpu.counter.limit :: the second parameter which is the option you want to modify.
It will take a while to run because it needs to modify the limits for running threads without restarting them, this takes some time to pause, modify, and resume threads.
My CPU now runs at the full 3.5Ghz it can handle instead of the 2.5Ghz it usually pumps out.
