>STATE SCHOOL DETECTED
Seriously though, I got thrown out of private school. The only place that would take me is the state university in x city. Holy shit, gpa has doubled easily, classes are easy as fuck, three times as much free time. The most awful part is classes like OPs image, and the feminazi berniecucks everywhere.

This is not only retarded, but extremely distracting and a lot harder to understand.
The person that made that slide must really suck at presentations.

i've never understand private and state schools in usa. it's internet ages, there is no need for giving too much money for information you can learn online.
i mean if you get a average job and be an average guy, why do you spend thousands for school?
>>
>>53625233
>>53625248
ofcourse church is the best place for c programming.
>>
>>53625253
Employers expect it. Seriously, even entry level jobs have "4 Year BS" as a requirement. Besides, contrary to what most Euros believe, state school is basically free here in Murica. The government grants and state grants and such. It's private school the whiny berniecucks want to go to for free, because it is objectively better.

But in the end, 99% of employers don't care where your degree came from or what its in, it was just an arbitrary requirement to show you had some dedication to get through something.

it should be like this. they should look your abilities or projects.

Jesus Christ. I've only just been convinced that my university is international grade. I don't even know what the slide's saying. What has a pen drive got to do with that guy running out of memory? What does that guy's memory got to do with Biboople Shreshtolopooly's address? I imagine I would just drop out and enroll in an English degree if I had to do 2 hours of that shit a week.
>>
>>53625154
Well OP show us your AVL tree code now... you know what that is, right?
>>
>>53625183
People without this drive would never invent linux.

Like myself, I have intellectual delay. I literally think of thousands on memories at once.

Uni is just a method to get you from start to finish while you are taught industry education.

>>53625654
An array is fixed size, senpai. To extend a dynamic array, you first have to make a new, bigger array, then copy the old data into the new one, the free the space of the first one and move the pointer to the new one.

If you want something not fixed size but *like* an array, consider a linked list.
>>
>>53625682
The loss with linked list though is that access is not n(1)

At least you aren't learning how to program your microcontroller in BASIC. And by "learning" I mean learning abso-fucking-loutely nothing about programming at all. I know nothing more now than I did at the start and would have probably been better off buying an Arduino and learning this shit myself.

; Define LCD pins

i can't stand it much longer, the only reason i'm here is to just get a piece of paper so people will pay me money. Hell i got a job programming, and i leave work for an hour twice a week to learn about basic level of C

I leave an object oriented code base that's actually OOP (Inheritance, Polymorphism, etc.,) and go to a class where we are now just learning about pointers

Luckily i'm doing a more engineering degree (CS & EE Tech degree) and not just a programming degree, which i have friends that are in that, most menial garbage and they don't teach you modern tech or anything

>PHP classes without OOP-PHP
>inb4 why even PHP
>ASP .net without Razor, or any other major advancement that turned that garbage framework in to an actual good thing to use (like MVC)
>JS and HTML classes that don't even remotely look at jquery.
Not saying that everything here is manditory, but they should learn industry standards not industry basics of 2003.

Why does school feel like such a waste of time

It was fun when rage comics were limited to 4chan. They were crude and creative.
Then the rest of the internet took them and turned them into this cringy abomination.

But you gotta deal with it, it happens to everything that originates here eventually.
>>
>>53625360
Ausfag here.
Not sure if it applies but a lot of international companies require me to have a degree from a credited university in the international scene, not just some local place.
They check uni records and validate my degree before even looking at me, so it's kind of important to not only pass, but excel and have a lot of prior experience (through VAC work placement).

I can't go work in Europe with a shitty QUT degree.
>>
>>53630848
