Use virtualbox and wine.
You can make it autohide - it's the best way, right click on it and go to properties.
When you press windows key it shows up or when you keep the mouse around its area.

I just cut out the bottom part of my monitor where the taskbar physically is on screen. Monitor still works just not as good. Honestly I should have just installed Linux. Oh well. At least I can't see my taskbar anymore.
