Cinnamon is obviously the best DE - sensible defaults, good configuration options especially keyboard-wise, tons of themes, doesn't get in the way.
Running it with fedora would be a fucking travesty, I don't touch that broken ass fuck of a distro other than to see what they destroyed in the latest release. The fact that you have to run 3rd party software as soon as you install it to make it pass as usable tells enough.
Why cripple your system like that? Fedora is meant to be used with GNOME. GNOME is meant to be used with Fedora or RHEL. They're both funded and developed by Red Hat and meant to be used together. If you go with any other combination then you're going to have a substandard experience because you'll be fighting against the will of the developers. Trust Red Hat, because they understand Linux better than you do. They know which projects to support and how best to put them together to create the optimum product. You're not smarter than Red Hat.
If you want Cinnamon then you should use a different distro.

I use the Cinnamon Fedora spin. It's the only decent Cinnamon distro out there. That's what makes it special.
