But I do.

Sweet. What one are you running? Im thinking about running i3
>>53617040
unnecessary, time consuming why bother
Are there any disadvantages to using i3-gaps? Currently using i3.

aesthetics, its literally the only feature over regular i3
anyway, tiling wms are fucking dildos for anything that isn't programming and even then tmux gets the job done most of the time

I'm running i3. It's pretty easy to configure if you don't mind tweaking configs. Really well documented, too.
Any of you running sway yet?
As soon as it gets tabbed mode (I like this for web browsing) implemented I'll be fucking right of from X11 for good.

>He needs a tiling WM to shitpost on /g/, watch anime and chat on IRC.
Literally every tiling WM I see on here shows the person using it does no real work.

Some people just prefer to control with keyboard. And besides that, it's just fun to configure everything.

While all of this is likely true of the regular clientele posting desktops here, I for one would never upload anything here that could identify me so showing off any "real work" would be hard.

I want to try it because my main app is the terminal and i run gnu screen and vim and i like all that key binding shit. I think it might speed up my workflow just like how vim and screen do
>>53617852
Tiling wms are all about using the keyboard. Once you learn the hotkeys, you never even have to use your mouse.

That's exactly what i want, i might try setting up i3 tonight!
