Does google look at your search history when they're going over potential job candidates?

Just thought of this shit, please tell me they don't.

Just turn yourself in

"it seems you googled lolibutt 1000000 times. care to explain?"
"dat booty tho"
"i hear ya. welcome aboard"
>>
Uh, yeah, if you gave them your gmail address and you do all your searches while signed in.
>>
>>53607480
No. It's useless.
>>
WE"VE NOTICED YOU BOUGHT THIS ON AMAZON. JUST LETTING YOU KNOW IT WILL ARRIVE in x DAYS - Google commenting on my searches

Scared the fuck out of me that google is tracking my non-google behavior. They're probably reading this right now.
>>
>>53607480

Possibly.
>>
>>53607565

Yup, the gmail algorithms parse your emails for psycho demographic profiling.

It took me off-guard too when I saw one of my amazon purchases pop-up as an informational message on my search results.

well I'm fucked. I just went to school for 6 years for it to come down to me not giving them a fucking throw away e-mail address.
>>
>>53607565
> they're probably rearing this right now
Probably not, Google knows so much about you that they don't need to read what you post to know what you are probably going to say
>>
>>53607565
>non-google behavior

ur dum

it reads your received emails, and reports various things based on content.
>>
you like goatse too anon ?

youre hired
>>
>>53607480
No, they don't. But I actually made/used a fake alias throughout my undergrad based on a similar idea.
>>
>>53607518
you don't even need to be signed in for being paired up with your gmail, http requests give a lot of informations
>>
>>53607612
Super convenient tho
>>
>>53607616
If you seriously think they look at candidate's search histories then you probably aren't someone they would hire anyway.
>>
>>53608356
I want you to explain to me why it's a ridiculous thing to think. At my current job we scope out the facebook and twitter accounts of potential candidates before we even look at their resume. I don't understand why a company like google wouldn't take advantage of this ability, because it would make vetting these potential hires much more efficient.
>>
Moot got hired. (I guess that's more of an exception than a norm though.)

Pretty sure if you don't have a criminal past that's what matters. Most American dudes look up some freaky shit at some point in their lives, I don't think even the three letter organizations would zap you on that fault.
>>
>>53608795
Moot is smarter than Googling "lolibutt" while logged into his main account.
>>
>>53608707
What if profiles are private or dont exist?
>>
>>53610265
you didn't address the argument but I'll bite:

profile doesn't exist - sketchy, aren't with the times, throw in the garbage.

private - the about section and the profile picture usually give us a good clue about the person. If they're dressed like a fucking weeb or is smoking a joint in their pic it's a definite no go. one time we had a guy whose picture was alright but in the education section in his about page it said that he was a huge underrated international porn star. his private profile didn't save him there.

now would you please explain to me why google wouldn't look at it's applicant's search history, all knowing one?
>>
>>53612568
Here's an argument: it's most likely illegal

Exactly. that's just your assumption because you don't actually know shit.
>>
>>53612893
Neither do you, retard
>>
Pretty sure the Google interview folks don't have access to search records anyway
>>
What if they ONLY look at your search history? No application, no interview, you don't call them they call you.
