Looks pretty good to me

You didn't have to type away at a terminal and google issues for 40 minutes to get those things to work

But Tesla projects all end up open source - Elon literally makes their designs public.

These were the culprits, I couldn't believe Windows couldn't use a goddamned flash drive
>>
>>53603083
inb4 it was installing the badusb drivers
>>
>>53602884
But it has happened. This is my experience from using 7. Perhaps this is (finally!) fixed in later versions.
The fact windows is "installing drivers" when you plug in usb devices and does that when replugging to different port is well known. To not acknowledge that would mean you're either a shill or schizophrenic.
>>
>>53602891
This doesn't happen nowdays.
>>
>>53603141
It's not fixed. Windows has done it forever. It always installs USB drivers for ports, not for system wide.

It shouldn't take 10 minutes though, unless it has to download them and you have a dialup modem.
>>
>>53603177
Firstly, it's not installing shit, the drivers are already fucking installed. That prompt is a bug. A bug acknowledged by MS.
Secondly, it wasn't downloading anything. It just hang for 10 minutes. It might have been high fragmentation, which is another issue with Windows.
>>
>>53602891
Underrated.
>>
>>53603318
Installing doesn't only mean placing driver files into directories and registering them.
It also includes setting up registry entries and shit for the device on the host, which is what it is mostly doing when you plug an already installed device into a new port.
>>
>>53603514
>registry entries
Wow, so it does useless shit.
>>
>>53603670
Windows runs off registry entries.

Since when?
Or do you mean the iPhone that doesn't let people see what's on your phone?
>>
>>53603083
>These were the culprits, I couldn't believe Windows couldn't use a goddamned flash drive
Used to be that you needed to install a specific driver for each brand/model of USB drive.
>>
>>53603823
Either or.

You need to install an application to copy files to and from Windows and Android phones.
>>
>>53603852
But why? They obviously work with generic drivers given Mac OS X 10.0 and my PlayStation 2 are able to use them no problem
>>
>>53603903
Badusb.
They're presenting themselves as a second device to the OS which Windows is installing drivers for.
OSX and PS2 are ignoring that device so go straight into mass storage mode.

Throw them away.
>>
>>53603956
Flash drives come preinfected now? PNY ships them with badusb? Sure faggot
>>
>>53603989
>Flash drives come preinfected now?
Yes. They're all made in China and a shit load are preinfected.

Flash drives are cancer.

I'm posting from a laptop that's been running Linux as main OD for over a year without any issues BUT that post reminds me so much of my first Linux installs about 10-15 years ago. I would fuck up my OS so hard because of the stupid shit like xorg.conf, removing pulse, ricing etc. It was mostly due to PEBKAC not Linux.
>>
Does anyone know if Bluetack's Microsoft blocklist for peerblock is still being updated?
>>
>>53602083
That's the name on the drive, dumbass.
>>
I had to reformat Windows last night. My registry somehow got corrupted. I did everything in my knowledge to fix it, but nothing worked.

While reformatting, I ALMOST considered switching to a Linux-based system. Almost.
