Straight gigabit from all your switches/routers in your network. if you have a segment that only supports fast ethernet, then that whole segment will be the bottleneck. ISPs don't offer any speeds at saturate a fast ethernet bus bus so your good on that end. Wireless is good for phones/netbooks/laptops. Wired connection is way better for streaming media devices.
