that's a possibility, also, it's a possibility they don't care about keyboards and tendies, or, they use it. numpad is objectively amazing for certain tasks.

open ur mind
>>
If you don't use a numpad regularly, you don't belong on /g/.
>>
>>53564258
you spent 150 on 2 shitty kailh boards when you put it towards one much nicer keyboard

>>53564331
actually, i compose shitty score for radio commercials, youtube videos, and on two occasions actual television features, one was a commerical and one was RCG canal 7, a mexican television station. i got the job because my father is a broadcast tech.

when using sibelius, a musical scoring program, i don't touch the mouse, i compose entirely with two hands on the keyboard, and the numpad is used to shift between note durations, and when you hit numlock, you can use it to write intervals. its way better than mouse clicking. its almost like fretting a guitar and pulling strings.
>>
Because I need my number block? What sort of stupid question is this?

I use it to enter every number. I wish the number row would be all symbols by default.

Depends on your use case...
If you are fine with ever replacing a battery and getting down on your knees every 3 days when the wireless dongle needs a handy, then get a wireless keyboard.
If you want to plug in your keyboard and actually do work on it rather than obsess over key switches and muh-portability get a decent keyboard.

Because:
- I don't use an American keyboard layout and the top row is useful for a lot more than just numbers.

Tenkeyless would be a fucking huge regression.
>>
>>53566432
I've never touched a mechanical keyboard so I'm untainted, still content with scissors. How far is the key travel on mechs? I got that one specifically because scissors keys are slim with little travel (compared to full size rubber dome)
