How much monthly written data is alright on an SSD?
124 GB / month here.
I try not to pass 128GB because you'll start to get monthly fees

I have a 840 evo with over 22 TB written.
It performs the same as the day I bought it .

I have an 840 pro I bought 2 - 3 years ago - it has 9 tb written - good health status and performs like day one... Seriously boots, works fine just like day one.
Samsung just got their shit straight with ssd's

According to SSDLife I've had this for about 15 months.
I think I've had it for a bit longer, but let's go with that.
So that's bit under 3.3TB a month.

Don't control how much it writes... I mean just move software cache, temp to other drive and leave the software itself on the ssd.
70% of my ssd write or maybe more is from Firefox alone, a way to avoid this is move all the cache on ram and restart from time to time the browser if your habit is to keep many tabs on
shift + f2 = write restart in console hit enter and remember to closer that shit, only open it for restart.

They did a test of this a while back. Current SSDs died in the vicinity of a high-single-digit number of petabytes written, as I recall.
