Just install the latest stable Ubuntu Gnome now, or 16.04 in April.

I don't mind unity, the point is to not have to upgrade once 16.04 releases, so if i install it now, it should just update normally once its stable?

you'll have to do a release upgrade if you install 15.10 now, which doesn't take long. 16.04 alpha will just become 16.04 release when the packages are finalized.
But with you even having to ask this question, I recommend you don't install 16.04.
wait for a stable release, or just go with 15 or 14. but maybe go for debian? or something else.
why do you consult 4chan when making a decision, just do whatever who cares.

Don't get mad buddy

Unity is the best looking DE, though not the most comfortable one but still amazing looking. I don't understand the hate.

Could use CentOS if you want stability. Fedora if you want constant updates and features.
I've been running xenial in production on servers and a notebook since early January.
It's fine. systemd >> upstart, honestly. I quite like it, but I know others violently disagree and that's okay, that's why we have different distros. But I've gotta wonder how much of that is just down to Lennart being, well, Lennart; the actual software is an imorovement, and is at least on par with runit/daemontools. sysvinit is, and was always, a clunky hack of a piece of shit, and Bourne shell is, albeit useful sometimes, one of the worst languages ever created.
Yes, I know, opinions. It's okay if you love it, I don't mind, no-one needs to defend it.
16.04 isn't running Mir; it isn't going to be ready in time, not even close. I wish they'd dump Mir and go Wayland like everyone else: fork for fork's sake, pure NIH.
