I ran a FX-6300 at 4.5GHz easily with air, zalman cooler, worked fine. Switched to a Corsair AIO watercooler, running at 5.0GHz now, cooler then the air cooler and quieter for sure, too cheap of a system for a custom loop.

Don't know what shit you use, but I have been watercooling for like 8 years, first custom loops now AIO coolers, none ever leaked, guess you do a shitty job or buy real shit parts.
i designed and built my own case in such a way that a catastrophic leak is impossible. its not impossible that at some point i experience seepage, but even if every single fitting started dripping, no damage would occur.
