5.25" klipsch r-15m bookshelf speakers and a 10" klipsch r-10sw subwoofer.

the speakers are great, the earplugs could use a little more bass but are otherwise pretty good.

B652s with DTA-1 amp and cheap Xonar sound card. I got the speakers when they were $30.

Headphones are Sennheiser PXC 450. I don't them much because I get sebaceous cysts when I do. Maybe that won't be a problem now that I'm eating clean with no more than one serving daily of peanut butter if not eating other nuts.

A solid buy, but they sound shit. Good for the price apparently ($200ish).

>Beyerdynamic DT770 pro
They sound fantastic
Price doesn't vary much, so you'll have to wait a while to buy them (because audio equipment is only bought when on sale)
The cable is frayed at the headphones end.
The band is slightly crooked (I stood on them once).
The band adjustment slips (due to bad design, shallow dimples in metal).
The band and cup bracket are steel but they are connected by... you guessed it; plastic housing. It will loosen and you will over tighten until it breaks. Mine's still fine for now.
They're really hot.
The pads aren't really washable (it ruins the texture and the look), replacements cost $60.
You can't get them repaired in many countries.
Coiled cables are stupid.

All that and they're still supposedly the most durable headphones on the market.
How have people done in the long term with comparably priced ATHs', Sennheiser's, AKG's, etc?
>>
>>53536008
>(because audio equipment is only bought when on sale)
you can always buy more than one headphone anyways when black friday comes again so might as well jump into the pit now

How are the M series Genelecs, never even seen them IRL
>>
Same like OP
>>
>>53539799
They are good like most Genelecs. The things I don't like are the faint hiss when they are idle(it's really faint but it's there) and mounting options. My room is poor so I'm running some channel specific EQ to fix the response. It's really flat above 500 Hz where room modes stop and it has a fairly wide dispersion pattern. Good for desktop use where I have them.
