i thought about that, but i have lots of books and documents, so id have to spend literal hours if i did that.
I know there's software that can do this in minutes, I just don't know which, or where to get it.

I am serious now, I you want to force your brain into processing much more information faster - listening to it is not as efficient as watching it.

Use something like this: http://www.spreeder.com/index.php

You'll process much more information with higher accuracy in your brain - it also trains your attention and uses the same areas of brain normal reading would use.

If you want to benefit more - in case you read philosophy or complicated ideas that require associations and less memorizing - use some ambient music - such as classical music - it will increase understanding - but in the case of serious learning it might just distract your from properly learning.

PS. Ambient music means lower sound - the lower the better.

Do you think videos with text-to-speech voice over them inspire that they're trustworthy?

I personally always close them on sight, and on average they have at best few thousand views.

Just use a mic - then there are pre-made patches to filter the sound and make it sound professional with adobe audacity.
