You just need to use custom resolutions for that, but yeah unfortunately if you want to get slightly better looking fonts you would need to use a high ass scaled resolution.
Pic related, elements are too big for my screen but anything smaller (bigger resolution) and fonts are jaggy and shit. It's a shitty 2560x1080p display.
