I haven't had a driver crash in years and yet Nvidia just decided to nudge a few users to "upgrade" with their latest game ready driver
HOLY FUCK this new driver is amazing. I'm getting performance increases all around, GPU temps are cool and the downclocking is gone.

I used AMD for a few years, then NVIDIA up until November, now I'm back to AMD.
I haven't had driver issues with any of them. Is this only a problem for brand new games or something? I never buy games on launch and 90% of the time you're an idiot if you do.

AMD drivers are not a problem doing stuff that 95% of users do with GPUs, aka playing games on Windows. I've encountered glitches and crashes when doing other stuff, though that may not be AMD's fault.

That doesn't account for how this is a meme on places like /v/ where they only use them for games.
