From what /v/ told me it's nowhere near as good as Oculus Rift, but it's a cheaper alternative and for porn it'll be good enough.
In some ways it's better because there's no cord attached to a PC which allows for absolute freedom of movement. I think most people will be using these more than true VR.

I have one of the old modules, its not bad, for 100 bucks its pretty amazing, if you have a newer gpu you can actually connect it to your pc, porns pretty rad you should get it if youre too broke for real vr but want a pretty gold alternitive.

Porn in cardboard (I recommend BoboVR Z3 - 20$) is amazing. But so are SBS movies and documentaries.
I've being doing shitty 3D games for a while, but doing the same thing for VR is incredibly more fun. Seeing your creations "there", with some sense of presence, is amazing. Closer to building material things with your hands.
And that is only the beginning. Cannot wait to see what will VR achieve in a few years.
