>>
i use it to connect with my camera so i don't have to type in some retarded password every time i want to transfer an image to my phone
>>
I use it to share websites, apps, contacts, events, pictures, 4chan threads, and I sometimes use it to pay for things at stores
>>
>>53213101
I use it to pay at the grocery store.

Nope it's a useless battery hog.
>>
>>53213101
I used it to pay ISIS a support donation.
>>
>>53213355
Just like your dick
>>
>>53213101
I've used it for Android Beam to send pictures and music to someone else's phone. I don't use it often though, so I doubt I'd really miss it if I didn't have it.
>>
>>53213355
nfc uses like .25% of your battery
>>
I had a phone with NFC for 3 years, never used this thing, now I have a phone without NFC... but two SD cards.
>>
I used to use Google Wallet, but then Android Pay replaced it and I haven't been using NFC since.
>>
I pay with my smartphone.
>>
>>53213101
I use it for my thesis project. It's easy to read mifare cards with android nfc, and my college identity cards have mifare chips built-in - so i made a little attendance list program.

It feels useless in everyday life though. Interactive ads/info thingies are comfortable enough with QR codes, "get close to enable night mode" tags are super useless gimmick and doesn't really helps in anything.
>>
>>53213101
I don't use it because no one else that I talk to know what it is and don't have it enabled
>>
I used to use it at 7/11 and Chevrons until they decided to remove it. They were gonna replace it with some QR Code bullshit called CurrentC but then people found out how easy it was to exploit it. I have a debit card now but man, just taking my phone out to do it was nice.
>>
In my country you can pay with NFC.
It's on my bankcard and I can pay with an app on my phone.
>>
>>53215760
Me too, but I do it with the Bitcoin application and a QR code scanner.
>>
Not the NFC in the phone , but I use NFC reader/writer to hack the transportation card to travel for free.
>>
I've used it for testing NFC tags and reading/writing data. I've never actually used it for a real purpose though
>>
I use with my car stereo to quick connect the Bluetooth to my phone.
>>
>>53213101
No, but if Orca supported it on my phone I would use it.
>>
Have a tag on my phone holder in my car that keeps my phone unlocked.
>>
I have a sticker next to my door house, if I put my phone on it, my pc turns on. Just a simple wake on lan.
>>
>>53219696
I pay with my phone, anywhere.
Not only in stores accepting Bitcoin.
>>
I do these
>>53215760
>>53219944
Also store the wifi password in a tag so whenever someone needs to connect just reads the tag.

>NFC tag under my desk
I place my phone there and it turns on Wi-Fi, turns off mobile data
>tag on my nightstand
I set my phone there and it silences it
>tag under the palmrest in my laptop
I tap my phone to my laptop and it turns on its Bluetooth and creates a PAN

I have one of those nfc implants in my hand, pic related.

It has all my contact info for people to scan, like phone number, facebook, snapchat, instagram, etc.

I used to unlock my phone with it, but not since the novelty wore off. It's still fun to whip out and show people though.
>>
>>53215717
I thought Android Pay was a dolled up wallet, what's the difference?
>>
>>53215597

With 0.25% battery I could browse at least 5 whole memes. Not worth it bud.

This is the gayest thing I've seen all day and I just finished watching shameless. You should really re-think your life choices.

What happens when the new hot meme social networking sites come out?

Great for sharing my contact details with people, got a chip in my hand for giggles. Is proper fun like.
Mobile payments is nice, especially in a non-retard country like mine where there's already 2 standards that everyone uses.

Same, mine's harder to see though.
How long have you had it in and where's the scar?
I've had mine since mid 2013.

Just update it with your phone.

Better grab a scalpel.
But don't worry, it doesn't hurt TOOOO much.
Not unless you got one with biobond like a fucking moron.
>>
>>53221600
>fucking moron
says the one with a plastic chip inside of them
>>
>>53221629
It's glass, and at least it isn't soaked in biobond.
>>
I used it to use Android Beam to transfer an apk from my phone to a friend's. It's significantly faster and more convenient than Bluetooth but this has been the only time I have ever used it.
>>
>>53213101
I use NFC to send contact info to new acquaintances. It works pretty well.
>>
>>53220650

Can't use it if you've made any modifications to Android.
