What do you guys think about running What's the pro's and the con's for running Windows on MacBook Pro (or any other Mac)?
Is it a waste, have you done it? If so how did it work out?
Pro for Windows: Runs faster on th Mac than OS X.
Cons: It's Windows, which may or may not be an issue.

Have you ever been hands-on with the 12" Macbook? Or did you just read about it on /g/ and internalize everything you read without thinking critically about it?
Because I *have* had hands-on time with the 12" Macbook. And it's fine. In practice, it's roughly equivalent to a Macbook Air, for a much better price, when you take into account the amounts of RAM and SSD that are upgrades at extra cost on the MBA.

Yeah. Over the years, I've owned an Asus desktop replacement, an Asus netbook, and worked on a few HP Pavilions and Dell Inspirons belonging to family members. They were all terrible. None of them were viable for more than two years.
I also go out to stores regularly to fool around with new laptops If it's been on the shelf at Best Buy, I've put the thing through its paces. I even bring my own personal hotspot, so I can connect them to WiFi and browse the internet.
For what it's worth, if I wanted to have a portable computer that runs Windows, I'd be using a Surface Pro.
