To add to this:
What I'd really like to do is get my hands on a central computer used for the machine network.
The network does all the communications of how much money goes in and out of each machine, how many games are played, if it needs a refill yes or no.
It also controls the machines.
You can tell a machine to go in refill mode so employees don't have to turn a key to get in that menu.
You can do a dump as well, the machine will clear the hoppers of coins so you can take it to the money counting room for booking etc.
I want to reverse engineer the protocol and see if I could make a device that I can hook up in a casino and send a building-wide message to all machines to completely clear their hoppers.
Not for nefarious reasons, I just want to see if I can and find a way to fix it.
