If you constantly need to be online, a large phone is for you. I only use my phone for directions, communication and whenever I need to look something up. In the meantime. My 4.5 inch phone is barely noticeable in my front pocket.

I'm using a hand me down 5 right now. Fantastic size and screen. Just wish iOS wasn't so worthless.
I had a z3 before this. Would have gotten the z3 compact but T-Mobile wasn't carrying it. It was a wonderful phone. Everything worked the way I wanted it to and the ui was clean, consistent, and felt lightweight compared to lg and samsung's abominations. Also really loved their method of multitasking. I just wish it didn't require specific apps to be made for the mini Windows.
I would get another, but around the time I was looking at replacing my broken z3, Sony announced they were likely to pull out of the mobile phone industry completely.
It seems like they're on life support right now.
I haven't seen a single Sony phone at T-Mobile, sprint, Verizon, or AT&T kiosks at the mall. It's a real shame. Especially since the z2 and z3 were really popular where I work for a little while. I don't know a single person that has one now.

I got a Z3C on release. Had to get the entire screen replaced a month later after dropping it literally 6 inches onto carpet, not covered by warranty despite not being fit for purpose.
The screen died again after a year so I bought an M9 instead. Glorious Sony build quality my arse, Sony phones are build like Chinese crap and their support is fucking useless, even the slightest knock renders the entire display unusable.

Luckily there is a 2 year warranty on everything sold were I live. Bought a Z1C back in august 2014, and by march 2015 the headphone jack stopped working. Sent it to service and got a brand new back.
Next time, a couple of weeks ago I rinsed said phone in water and it died. Now I got a Z3C replacement.
