I don't keep track of my age, but I stopped using Firefox after 28th version.

I went from Navigator straight to Chrome

I never grew out of it, just found better things. I was 12 when Chrome came out and was pretty interested in Google releasing a browser, so I switched to that for a couple months before finding out about Opera, been using that ever since

I don't track my age which is once a year but I keep track of updates.
Also, I never grew out of FireFox (´・ω・`)
>>
Which was the last good version of Opera? and can it still be downloaded?
>>
whenever they switched version schemes
>>
>>52926822

I still use it though. I've found no reason to switch to anything else. It's got everything I need.
>>
>>52926822
Never, because Chrome is fucking garbage. I'm 34.
>>
I'm still using Firefox and I will use it in the future, unless they finally create something that's better than Firefox. Chrome is a good backup browser for things that still require Flash or something, but the actual browsing must be done with an open source browser. Firefox is pretty nice and it has enough features for my browsing. It can also be used on Windows, desktop Linux and Android phones so I got my bookmarks and stuff all synced. I'm not familiar with all the other browsers but I think the other open source browsers don't support things as much as Firefox.
>>
>>52927072
Opera was shit for browsing when it was updated and new, take a guess how great your experience will be when you use it outdated.
>>
>>52926822
Well, I can't download from ex anymore because downthemall isn't compatible with e10s.
Firefox is becoming too much of Chrome lately, I won't be surprised if they too are tracking me.

i really enjoy using safari and not having flash installed on my computer.

Last Presto version was 12. But the new one has become pretty nice; less features than v12 by far but still more than Chrome, Edge, Firefox* or Safari.

Install Opera. You can have 100 tabs and yet you can easy find the one you like using the tab list with tab previews.

>>52927072
Use the last version. Opera Beta is pretty good right now, specially if you are using Windows 10. Is far better than Chrome, too.

>4 tabs
I use Firefox and the only time I can have 4 tabs open is when I'm trying to close as many as I can before rebooting. I can hardly ever get under 10 tabs but I have had hundreds of tabs. It doesn't crash at all.

I don't play Flash games though.

Why do you need so much additional protection? I thought Linux was secure by design and stopped 100% of all malware out of the box?
>>
They're dropping support for userChrome and userContent because they don't play nice with e10s and forcing people to use addons, so probably whenever those changes roll out. At that point, it'll LITERALLY just be a worse Chrome.

>>
>>52930880
Opera was the best browser up until they gutted it. Their last versions before killing everything good about them still btfo Chrome and Firefox, yet they're 2+ years old.
>>
>>52930929
I'm not him but I remember trying Opera in maybe 2004 or 2003 even. It had this gigantic ad banner on top, baked into the UI.

Yes, both use the same engine, but Opera is lighter on resources, runs natively on most Operative systems and has more built in features than Chrome, thats why its better.
