How do I learn to type fast without looking at my keyboard?
Literally by typing.
Make an effort to learn it properly (plenty of ressources online) and don't fall back in to old habits because they may be easier.

I had a class in my Jr. High that taught me to type from homerow. I can't even type without setting my hands up on default positions or else I will type off key.

yeah I made quite a lot of errors, the typing test threw me off a bit, I am used to pressing backspace or just finishing the word when making a mistake during a typing test, the test didn't allow that though.

I was put into a typing class in middleschool that taught us homerow. Soon after i started playing WoW so I had lots of practice. I never look at my keyboard
