You all know the botnet literally cannot work if you set up a firewall and block your PC from sending out information? It takes like 2 minutes to set up.

i am serious. you cant even prove what is being sent in the first place, so until you can actually show there is no difference at all you have nothing to go off of in the first place.

and make sure you realize that the 'telemetry' shit is what cant be turned off completely, but that isnt sending shit you type or any of the other scare tactics linux shills like to talk about in the first place

if you knew anything about 'telemetry' you would realize it sends bullshit like uac escalations, and only if you are in the ceip in the first place.

but no, you dont real kb's, you read dumb fucking /g/ threads and play along. until you can actually prove something, stop acting like a fucking tool

maybe if the rest of that traffic was going to those resolved queries you would have something, but the only other traffic is mirc.

I researched and came up with my own conclusion that microsoft have 0 respect and that the privacy settings are fake.

"No user content, such as user files or communications, is gathered at the Security telemetry level, and we take steps to avoid gathering any information that directly identifies a company or user, such as name, email address, or account ID. However, in rare circumstances, MSRT information may unintentionally contain personal information. For instance, some malware may create entries in a computer’s registry that include information such as a username, causing it to be gathered. MSRT reporting is optional and can be turned off at any time."

18. Emotionalize, Antagonize, and Goad Opponents. If you can't do anything else, chide and taunt your opponents and draw them into emotional responses which will tend to make them look foolish and overly motivated, and generally render their material somewhat less coherent. Not only will you avoid discussing the issues in the first instance, but even if their emotional response addresses the issue, you can further avoid the issues by then focusing on how 'sensitive they are to criticism.'

I really really really wish someone would break the encryption from our data streams just to either completely bust the w10 conspiracy or prove us right.

And if microsoft didnt do anything wrong why wouldnt they spend 5 minutes making a presentation showing the procedure of how they decrypt and then handle our data?

Whatever works for you. If you're alright with the way apple does things then go apple, if they get on your nerves later on down the road then you can always switch to linux then.

I went with Debian and haven't looked back at all. Steam was a pain to setup, but it's working fine now. Dolphin isn't optimal with only openGL, but it's great. If you really need Windows later, you can try the difficult passthrough if you have the right hardware.
>>

That only happens if you enable input personalization...

You faggots make it sound like Microsoft automatically enforces this shit on everybody. It's fucking pathetic.

Hey guys, op is an idiot Microsoft has flat out stated that you can't entirely disable telemetry reporting.

So you can minimize the amount of shit you're eating, but you can't stop eating feces. I don't have that problem with my OS wincucks.

Mate, the telemetry is also being backported to earlier versions of Windows.

>Using virtualization to emulate Windows on your Linux box to play video games
That's basically what he's showing you. In other words, you're still using Windows. Meaning that you're still being violated with the omnipresent telemetry that's inside the OS you just installed on your hypervisor.

If you're aiming for freedom, it's a joke. If your aim is just play video game and you don't care about telemetry, it's not a joke.

Beware of a drop in performance, even when you use PCIe pass through. A dual boot would make more sense, unless you care about your freedom, of course.
>>
>>52666643
Just get Linux native games. There are hundreds, just check steam and gog and search for Linux. If you want to get your ass handled by thugs like EA Origin and their newest cutting edge AAA bore fest tech demos, you can always stick with Windows.

GPU passthrough.

Containing Windows in a VM means I can just thrw it all away and nothing of value will be lost. It's not going to be my daily driver, won't hold any critical files, won't be useful for anything work-related, so whatever telemetry MS collects in the end (since not everything can be disabled) will just be garbage data.

No enterprise and so on only have the option to turn telemetry down to what Microsoft calls "basic" telemetry. Nothing can turn it off.
