LibreOffice is fucking shit.
I don't use it often, but whenever I need it, I always spend 80% of my time with just trying to get the fucking thing it to work.
I've just spent half an hour wrestling with trying to have a different header on the first page, but same footer. Whenever I choose a setting, the wrong thing changes, or changes in the opposite way I imagine.
Headers and Footers are either not intuitive or just plain fucking broken.
So I've had enough. Fuck LibreOffice .
Can anyone recommend a good Word Processor?

Works for me.
It's also pretty straight forward once you know how it works.
It's all based on page styles. Every page style has the same header & footer. You can change it by right-clicking the style name on the bottom bar.
You'd probably safe some time if instead of just playing around until it hopefully works you'd search the internet, I'm sure it's explained somewhere.

Especially on 2 column layouts. Fuck Writer (and also M$ Word) for 2 column layouts. Nothing but trouble.
