Don't listen to the Linux users who claim that never having to reboot is a good thing. They sacrifice probably less than 60 seconds of time for a massively less stable system that is running on a cobbled together kernel held together with nothing more than patches, grafts, and splices >>52633891
Their whole system can fall apart at any serious error and they will never know, since as we all know, linux doesn't even print an error message at all when something goes seriously wrong. See: ubuntu installer. You could have data corruption or a memory leak and not know until KAPUT, your whole system fried in an instant.
Rebooting after a kernel update ensures that you will never experience such a problem as the kernel is always fresh and the memory cleared of vagrant data
