So, I'm trying out Linux Mint on VirtualBox, and I selected the clearlooks theme. But when I opened the driver manager, I got this really ugly windows95-esque theme. How do I change it?

Well, your theme settings are not systemwide but bound to the user.
Running an application as a different user (in your case as root) makes it use the theme settings of that particular user.
It's a non issue anon, you shouldn't be running applications as root.

You don't. It changes you...

Select Mint-X

Raleigh is a good theme but today Adwaita is the gnome norm.

Hm I'm not sure why it looks like that, it didn't look like that when I've installed it a couple of years ago. Did you install the VirtualBox additions? With that, things should be better.

Just take some time to rice an your Linux can end up looking as beautiful as this.
>>52527029
copy the theme you are using to /usr/share/themes
>>52527029
The settings you change as your user don't affect applications running as root.

I had a nostalgic surge this afternoon, and installed it with POL and WINE.
Damn, I spent years playing that one game. I really miss the good ol' times.
