You can send a custom PC build to the assembly service and they will build it for you regardless, provided that the parts you're buying are coming from them (NCIX for example).
Prebuilts are inefficient in all aspects and buying one would be a mistake.
I find "build" acceptable when it comes to computers because you do take engineering strategies into mind such as the obvious, speccing it out, but also airflow and fan placement, dust mitigation, etc. You are designing a "build" with an engineering goal or goals in mind.
