Thoughts on the Razer Deathadder Chroma™ /g/?
A little backstory; I bought a Razer Deathadder 2013 a few years back and have loved it ever since, but I've just worn out the pads underneath the mouse and need a new one ASAP. Should I try and get another Deathadder 2013 or is the new Chroma even better?

I've heard a lot of bad reviews about it breaking after a few months due to shitty thin plastic build. That's why I got a G402 instead.

Just buy new pads... These are better than the Razer ones, and significantly cheaper. I go through a set every 2-3 months..
.6mm is the one you want.

My like 2012 deathaddr mouse wheel died and i ruined it trying to take it apart when drunk. I got one of these chroma and its the same shit with pads on the side. it isn't bad for $50.

It's far worse quality than the older models. If your only issue is the pads, you can buy more.
I've had one since last summer. It works fine so there's no complaints from me.

I have one, pretty nice if you don't mind using the software to configure it in any way
New feet it is, thanks anons
Suddenly I'm worried about using my mouse, the actual body is getting worn now the pads are so thin D:
I used the same stock genius mouse for 10 years for everything, it never occured for me to check my mouse feet after 'only' 2. I was using a razer mousepad so I figured it would be allgood.
>Buy new pads
>6 month warrenty
>been using the same pads for 2+ years

Yet another case of user error fucking up someones gear

Don't even think about buying Razer unless you are satisfied with really really shitty build quality.
My Deathadder is supposed to have a pulsing LED where your palm sits...now it just sporadically has a seizure instead of smoothly blinking, not to mention plastic panels coming off
Got an ASUS Gladius and couldn't be happier
