Let's talk Fitness Trackers.
Thinking about getting one, lots of people say to get the Fitbit Charge.
Opinions? Better ones or worse ones?

Bump for interest. I hear the MiBand is phenomenal but I want one that also has a screen on it so I can check my stuff without needing to use my phone.

Adding a screen on it cuts battery life by like 90 per cent
Useless over engineering.

Wouldn't a well designed fitness tracker with a screen not have the screen on all the time and still have enough battery life to make it through a whole day though? I honestly wouldn't mind having to charge it every night if I had to.
I've used the Microsoft band for some time. Good little device but youmdonmean need to charge it every day.

Check out the Garmin Vivofit. I've been looking into them myself but I don't really want to shell out too much cash for something I will probably put down over a certain period of time.
*you don't mind

Been through 5 fitbits now. One battery leak, one broke where the rubber met the actual watch part, two wouldn't accept a charge after a short time, and this most recent one is the first that lasted more than 30 days.
I got a Jawbone UP mostly because I want to track my sleep.
Only get seven days on the battery instead of 10 but otherwise seems pretty good.
>wouldnt work on the iphone7 because no 3.5mm jack

These are legit meme tier. Don't get one anon, you're better than that.

This. I trained down to a 4:30 1600m without even wearing a regular watch.
Definitely +1 on the Fitbit charge
Got one for christmas and it is so nice having the screen over the flex which is what I wore before.
Battery lasts almost a week for me so that is really good.
Only thing that shits me is the gesture detection only work for me when I am trying to get to sleep which is annoying as fuck.
8/10
