Why do people think that blowing hot air from GPU straight onto PSU is a good idea?
Why do manufacturers cater to this meme?

What makes you think that's what happens ?
>>52470939
The existence of two (on average) fans installed on GPU blowing in the direction of PSU installed below it.
What if it blows air onto the gpu instead?
>>52470952
Okay.
What makes you think that the fans on the GPU are blowing air in that direction ?
Why do you think the air is gonna be significantly warmer by the time it passes through? Does your fan spin so slowly it takes longer than two seconds for air to make it all the way through?
Air does not sit in your computer heating up, it dissipates heat pretty well for the purpose. It won't even make a full degree's difference.

I've solved Navier-Stoke's equation for this particular case and that was the result.

And can you explain how you reached this conclusion ?
Have you ever heard of an impeller? It pulls air from that little hole and blows it out the rear of the computer, parallel to the blade direction.

Why are you an idiot that doesn't know what a blowing fan is?

Not pictured: the top exhaust and side intake fans, further-making this a nonexistent issue

Except when there's no way to install any of those.
