Lumia 640. My first Windows Phone. It's pretty alright for the price, replacing a shitty first gen Moto /g/.
I got the xl version and love it. It's the first phone I've had that can easily last two days between charges.
On my way to pick up a Lumia 950 right now.

Is the XL version any different from the regular aside from screen size? Higher resolution?

there isn't a whole lot that on windows phone OS that can take advantage of the 950's hardware, so just get something cheaper. the 640 line is pretty boss. not to mention it's first in line for the windows 10 update.
