> can't detect any wireless connections, "not connected - no connections available" on the wi-fi icon in desktop toolbar, red cross on the icon too

What is a poor teacher like me supposed to do in this situation? Has anyone else had any problem with the latest Windows 10 update? I googled these things on mobile, but I didn't find the solution.
Please spoonfeed me Goyim!
Rollback and save yourself the trouble. Windows 10 is ass.

You're using that meme wrong.

I got you senpai.
I was going to sell my PC, just updated to Windows 10 on it, but I kept it. I think the same thing happened to me, no internet for no reason Ethernet connection, worked on my other PC. I found a solution though it took me a few hours, just fixed it this morning
Are you getting an error similar to this?.
>One or more network protocols are missing on this computer
>Windows Sockets registry entries required for network connectivity are missing.
>>52438316
Windows 10 worked great to me until two days ago t b h. Then this thing happened...
>>52438343
No. The only error I get whenever I look for a solution through Windows diagnosis is "problem with the wi-fi card or with access point". My wi-fi can't detect any wireless connection now. It used to detect at least 5 or 6 connections until yesterday.
>>52438396
That sucks, I have no idea. Call windows support
>>52438429
>THANK YOU FOR CALLING WINDOWS TECH SUPPORT, MY NAME IS RAJJ HOW MAY I HELP YOU TODAY?
>>52438429
I will. Do you think that uninstalling the wi-fi card (Atheros AR9485WB-E) could be a solution? I did the same thing with the Realtek sound card and it worked. The problem is: will Windows 10 be able to automatically reinstall the wi-fi card without using the Internet?
Wow OP, that sure is a lot of things that never happened!

This aside, is there a way to fix this thing in Windows10?
>>52439573
Not really. I'd suggest an update rollback but... oops Windows 10 forgot.
You're fucked until Microsoft address the issue and fix it themselves. Such is the way with Windows 10.
>>52438228
Some useful reminders: “EULA” also called software license agreement states the following
“Microsoft collects information about you, your devices, applications and networks, and your use of those devices, applications and networks. Examples of data we collect include your name, email address, preferences and interests; browsing, search and file history; phone call and SMS data; device configuration and sensor data; and application usage.”
Also, did you need those updates?
You're a silly goy and you know it. Get gassed.

I will always buy Microsoft Windows™ because the future starts now™. Microsoft also pioneers innovative new technologies like DirectX™, Office™, and the highest quality operating system to ever grace computers.
When I boot up with a brand new computer running Microsoft Windows™ with the latest Z chipset powered by Intel™ and latest Nvidia™ graphics, I can enjoy the games the way they where meant to be played™. Microsoft™ also pioneers in the gaming field with its latest xbox game console to allow gamers to play on their big screens with family and friends.
Microsoft Windows™ is also very secure. It's the most secure operating system on the planet. It's harden against NSA probes, tested by highly trained and experienced programming engineers to have ever graced this planet. With such innovative security technologies like UAC, Defender, Security Essentials, BitLocker, and Windows™ Firewall you can ensure all your sensitive data is secured and you're safe on the internet. Microsoft™ most advanced, and dare say, the most advance web browser on the market, Edge™, has decoupled addon support, like flash, to ensure maximum user safety when browsing the web. You can ensure Microsoft™ keeps you safe from the NSA.
At this point in time there's really no reasons to consider Linux. I tried once. It caused my Nvidia™ graphics to overheat so much due to its poor quality, novice programmed, open source drivers that it exploded and nearly burnt down my house.
It's quite clear that OPs a Linux shill trying to convince you to settle on something less than the optimal experience with Windows™. Windows™ is the only real way to play games or do anything productive. We've seen that they offer incredible libraries for software developers like Visual Studio and Microsoft C++ Compiler. He is probably too poor to afford the Microsoft Windows™ experience and can not afford to play any games.
Don't be a poor gamer with bad security and no drivers. The Future Starts Now™ with Microsoft Windows™

System restore to the earliest date or factory reset your laptop after backing up your data on disc or external drives. It's the nuke-from-orbit option, you have no choice. Then reinstall 8.1 or 7 or go full blown gnu/linux. I hope you learned your lesson: fuck windows 10.
