I still have CS2014 student version but I will continue to receive updates until 2017. As far as I can tell the only difference between 2014 and 2016 is the interface and mobile support but security is the same. Im good for next 2 years.

I upgraded to Common Sense 2016 just last night.
If you've gotta do a full drive scan, what do you use ?
I fire up MSE a few times a year but I think it only catch about 60% of known malware compared to paid ones
What? I'm still on CS2012. Not a single infection in the last 4 years

I was part of Common Sense 2016 Beta and just got my free upgrade for a full version for 2016.
Based protection.
I'm still holding out for CS 2017 Pro Community Preview. That's the one that will have the new AI heuristics included by default. Till then I'll stick with the old 2014 Student edition it's kept me safe so far.

CS2014 here, haven't gotten a virus or anything else since I was a kid and used other dumb anti virus programs
looking to get into 2015 beta, hopefully it's good
>They never got an invite to the 2017 alpha
The live monitoring is looking really good.
