I did not think of that. Basicly the less you keep on a ssd, the longer it will last. So if you are reading and writing all the time to that same sdd as your op, then you will lose it fast. So that would really help.

I have a samsung 840 evo (250 GB), had it for exactly 2 years

basically now I have a problem because due to OS entropy it only has about 20 GB of free space left, also there was that whole problem with the shitty stock firmware.

Even though I didn't install anything on it the OS still tries to keep all sort of caches on it and every single application too.

so go for a 480 GB, you won't regret it at all.
