Whats the best VPN?
It needs to:
>fast speeds
>allow torrenting
>no logs
>rare flags
>cheap
Optional:
>Firewall
>Antimalware option (filter bad domains)
>>52365410
certainly not the one on picture
>>52365443
It was a random one, it doesnt have rare flags or a cheap price.
>>52365410
Rent a VPS and setup your own VPN
Cheaper and you learn something
>>52365491
There are VPNs for 2€/month, how is a VPS cheaper than that? The cheapest ones I can find are of 4€/month

Great idea to put a VPN there
>>52365491
I think the main benefit of these VPN services is to be able to choose from many different servers.
Using your own VPS doesn't give you this.
>>52365581
Good point.
I use my VPS for other stuff too so it's acceptable
if you are going to buy vps just buy it from digital ocean, they have servers over netherlands where torrenting is allowed.

This.

Better to use nothing at all

Isn't it dangerous?
I configured my own
While configuration process read about the risks and 4 dollars a month is worth it
>>52365536
Literally this

>no rare flags
>slow speeds
>awful client
>expensive
Digital ocean + openvpn

>>52366098
i m using digital ocean and its located in netherlands
Not quite as cheap but good speeds and reliability:
https://www.ovh.com/us/vps/vps-ssd.xml
2 GB RAM
10 GB SSD
I'm using PrivateInternetAccess, but I don't have a solid opinion on it. working good so far.
>>52366613
Do you have many disconnections?
>>52366190
i have DO too, but from what i've read they don'T like torrenting. Their speeds are great though. I didn't torrent much on my VPS yet, only a few gigs, so who knows.
>>52367103
Been using it for about 2 years(torrenting, netflix and traps), I hade only 1 disconnect which I assumed was my network/router. So no, it's pretty reliable and a shitload of servers. Get it.
Cryptostorm
Thanks senpai, got pic related today and decided that today is the day I get a vpn
>>52365491
The vps host would easily report you if they found out you were using it to do something illegally
>>52368032
Meant for
>>52367281
Pic unrelated
>>52368032
Damn son. Fuck Cumcast.
>>52365410
You forgot
it needs:
>a warrant canary
>>52368032
Maybe you should stop stealing
>>52368032
Can't you just filter that through uBlock?
perfect privacy, AirVPN and SecureVPN.to all tested and good
>>52365410
I use AirVPN, it folls most of your list I think. Their IP's are banned from 4chan though. Other than that I would recommend it.
>>52368032
It's 2016. With FreeFlix, Netflix, Spotify, Slacker, YouTube Playlists, PutLocker, etc. it's damn near retarded to still pirate music and movies.
>>52368187
>US security researcher Moxie Marlinspike stated that "every lawyer we've spoken to has confirmed that a warrant canary would not work." In September 2014, Marlinspike added to this by stating that "if it's illegal to advertise that you've received a court order of some kind, it's illegal to intentionally and knowingly take any action that has the effect of advertising the receipt of that order. A judge can't force you to do anything, but every lawyer I've spoken to has indicated that having a "canary" you remove or choose not to update would likely have the same legal consequences as simply posting something that explicitly says you've received something."
>>52368032
>not using HTTPS
Fuck off retard
>>52368337
You can filter it of course, but that isn't the point.
>>52368310
No
>>52368399
I can't believe it is [current year] and you still do (thing), come on!
>tfw bought into that ProXPN based VPN called anonvpn for a lifetime sub and it's complete shit
I use torguard for $15 a year. No complaints. I set it up with a raspberry pi seedbox for a 100 percent anonymized environment
For everything else, there's Usenet
anybody heard of betternet ?
