>>
>>52344777
you keyboard is disgusting, clean it.
>>
>>52344689
They made my Cherry browns feel mushy as fuck to type on, so I took them out
>>
>equipping your meme'y switches with cock rings to be their dominatrix
>>
>>52344689
Yes, on my left 'alt' key the o-ring wouldn't allow the key to trigger. Had to take it off.
>>
Just get browns.
>>
>>52347881
I've got o-rings on my browns
>>
They make the keys feel fucking mushy.
>>
>>52347881
What has the switch type anything to do with the ring? The purpose of the ring is to stop the aggressive "clack" when the key bottoms out. Of course if you don't bottom out, it's useless.

>>52344689
I have them and I like them a lot. I bottom out the keys so after typing for a few hours, the tip of my fingers hurt a bit because of the sudden stop. The rings cushion the bottoming and reduce the "clack" noise.
>>
>>52344689
So that is what no o-ring looks like!
>>
>>52347933
>They make the keys feel fucking mushy.
Only the first few hours, before the rings sets in. It's less mushy afterwards.

>modding your mechanical for a mushy rubber feel with no sound

Why don't you faggots just go back to normie rubber dome shitboards if you're going to neuter your mechanicals?

the joke is that browns feel mushy as fuck and o-rings also make keys feel more mushy
>>
>>52348252
I'm not a virgin but I suppose I also never wore a condom. You win this round.
>>
>>52348215
>no sound
Thinking the sound made by mechanicals are by the key bottoming out.

>>52349045
Agree with the browns. I would've preferred clears, but they weren't available back when I ordered my keyboard.
>>
Isn't the whole point of mechanical keyboard that you won't bottom out?
With o-ring you reduce the distance the key travels so it's more likely to bottom out when you press the key.
Literally killing the point of using mechanical keyboard.
>>
>>52349072
>I would've preferred clears
You can make your mush a little stiffer but it's still always gonna be mush.

Greens=Topre=Buckling Spring>Blues>Clears>Browns=Blacks>Reds
>>
>>52349101
I don't use o-rings but I believe they physically stop the key from bottoming out. The plastic isn't hitting the board so it's not really bottoming out.
>>
>>52349114
>mush
>not wanting your actuation and release points close together
>>
>>52349101
Not the only point of mechs, but yes, it should be like that. Unfortunately, I cannot not bottom out for the life of me so... yeah.

>>52349114
I play some games and I had never tried mech switches, so I was afraid Blues would be bad for some games where you need to mash a button. What do you think about them?
>>
>>52344689
Mech keyboards are mem tier bullshit anyway.
>>
>tfw spent 3 dollarydoos on dental rings
>tfw the sound of the keys topping out still bugs me
>>
>>52349145
Blues were the first switch I tried. I enjoyed them, but the extra stiffness of Greens feels like that last cherry on top the Blues should've had to become perfect. Blues were way too light.
>>
>>52344732
>>52344777

I got them for $1.40 with shipping from China.
>>
>>52349145
>I cannot not bottom out for the life of me

Same here.

Spend too much time on shitty keyboards I guess.
>>
>>52349194
I'm sure they're great for typing. But what about games where you have to do fast repeated presses? Like rhythm games for instance.
>>
>>52349269
That would be fine.

It's more when you switch keys it doesn't feel very smooth.
You become very aware that you are pressing separate keys - great for typing but not so for gaming.
>>
>>52349329
I mean, for example when you use WASD to walk around it doesn't feel very natural.
>>
>>52349346
Yeah, that was one of my fears too.

Thanks for the input.
>>
>>52346369
>Browns
>Not already mushy garbage
>>
With o rings it doesn't bottom out properly
>>
>>52344689
Nice cock rings fagget
>>
>>52349072
>being an effete limp wrist that doesn't bottom out the keys
>>
>>52345828
It's a healthy o-ring.
Elastic at every size.
>>
>>52344689
what the shit am i lookin at
>>
>>52349114
>complains about mush
>topre
This fucking rubber dome has no clean break by design.
>>
>not liking the sound
Unless your typing is bothering other people, I don't know why you'd ever want to silence it.
>>
>>52349487
In hindsight I regret not getting a heavier switch desu. I completely fell for the meme

im not sure if i should keep my o-rings
i have had them on my keyboard for a year
but they start to feel mushy i think
i tested my dad's brand new 6gv2 out
( i got a 7g) and it felt way beter then mine should i remove my o-rings?
>>
o-rings are a meme. If you're not bottoming out every time for that hot *SLAM* noise, you're literally a woman used to having her pussy bottomed out by BBC
>>
>>52351902
i dont care much anymore about the sound just want it to react as fast as possible
>>
>>52350484

You mean body-positive fluid-ring.

I put an oring on my dick once and had the best experience ever.
