So, I heard that Asus Zenphone 2 is a decent smartphone for people who take money/value into consideration, so I went to check that phone but as it turns out, it has shitload of various models.
Example:ASUS ZENFONE 2 LASER (ZE500KL) etc..
What model was praised as good one here?
Also, Zenfone2(that "good" model) vs Nexus (#?) or maybe something else????

I can speak for the zenfone 2 as I'm using one right now. I have the 4gb model, ZE551ML. And I honestly love it. I'm not huge about gaming on phones, that's what a gaming pc is for, but this phone is awesome for multitasking and reading. The screen is enormous and in some cases cumbersome, but I don't really mind it. I'd rather have a large HD screen than a small HD screen because I watch a lot of YouTube videos on it. Also expandable storage up to 128gb, and two sim card slots is pretty cool. The main gripes I have with the phone would be the power button bring on the top center of the phone, however I use the double tap gestures to turn it on usually. And the back camera is pretty shit. It's mostly the default camera app though, because if I use the camera in snapchat or kik I have no issues in lower light. But default camera app is awful in any seeting that isn't bright as hell.
I have the 4 GB model too...
But I can say that it sucks. For starters even if you have two sim you cannot use the second sim for data.
Secondly, it is plagued with bugs in the wifi drivers. I constantly have to reboot the damned phone one or two times a day. This is because sometimes it will disconnect from the wifi network without reason and you cannot reactivate it unless rebooting.
Also, the battery life is really really shitty. You will get around 6 hours if you are using it for whatsapp/browsing in what I believe is normal usage for me. I have tested the Lenovo Zuk and with the same usage I get around 4 hours more i.e. 10 hours.
Also, the updates are really really bad and everytime they block some apps from working properly.
I have the 4gig model with the 2.3ghz Intel. Always good

had the phone for a few months only, it starts nice, but then after a short time it lags like crazy. I had the 2GB RAM. I sold it for most of my money back on ebay got a Nexus 6P.

Same here, Had the 4gb the screen is dim and the LCD is dying along with the touch screen. Luckily I'm still under warranty so I hope I get it refurbished hassle free have a one plus now and its miles better thanks to the software alone.
I have the 2GB/1.8ghz version.
Great phone, 4gig ram is probably better, but I haven't noticed any issues at all with mine. RAM usage is around 55-60% though normally. But once again, no issues. I'm not a heavy user though, and this battery lasts like 2days of low usage.
Using it right now with cm13. Its better then my note 5 att version. My note 5 when idle with no apps on uses 59% of its ram. My zenfone 2 only uses 29%.

There's various power settings. Menu - Power management - power saver- 4 different modes.
On "Performance" yes, you get a few hours of constant use. On "Power Saving" you get an easy 16-18 hours of constant use...
