Windows is proprietary non-free software, meaning, Microsoft the inhumane shilords they are, they spy and take your info and give it to a lot of higher ups, the only way to escape the botnet is to install debian or gentoo, you can still run your .exe files with Wine, so you can still do muh gaymin on Linux and have free software while being out of a botnet

Most "devs" just use a game engine which makes that easy enough. 90% of all they have to do is compile their game on linux or OS X and it will work but very few care about such a niche market share.
