That's silly.
Just run Rkill, TDSSkiller, Roguekiller, Combofix, and finish up with a full scan from malwarebytes.
If you really want more, use superantispyware as well (yes the name is silly, but it's actually decent as an active scanner).
After that you can be pretty certain it isn't common/known malware and it's very very unlikely you're infected with something fully undetectable anyways.

No...it isn't.
Even if you happened to have an ISO with every single windows update installed (which you probably don't), you're still going to have to do configuring once you've done that fresh install.
All the programs you'll need to reinstall; migrating settings & reconfiguring things that couldn't be directly backed up and migrated...it's a pain in the ass.
Using those 5-6 programs will take you less than half an hour
