Im looking for a debian alternative to Propellerhead's Reason. I have googled it but there doesnt seem to be a solid answer from the community, with many posts dating to 2004-2005.
Are there any DAW to recommend?

I have FL studio 12, but never can make the time to use it. I tried the cubase trial for 30 days and used it a couple times and found it good but there is no crack and i dont want to part ways with $100. What does this anon do?

Can we get some recommendations for legitimate digital music tutorials? And by legitimate I mean NOT any teenager showing how to move kick drum and base samples around on a time slider to make dubstep. I mean real tutorials where you learn the theory behind sound waves so you know how to *really* use this software.
