how to permanently change archey3 colours so they look nice? I'm an arch retard so if there's a wiki page I'll gladly read it
>>52229133
They depend on the color scheme of your terminal.

It didn't really bothered me before, but I guess I will give it a try.
>>52229688
You mean these broken line-drawing characters? I didn't know I can do anything about it. I guess I will have to mess with fonts.conf, right?
>>52229800
Just edit the appropriate files in /usr/share/themes/Numix/xfwm4 with pixmap.
>>52229800
installfontconfig-ubuntuandfreetype2-ubuntuset font hinting to none and rgb antialiasing and you are golden. Alternatively try infinality
>>52229884
What is the difference in these packages and justfontconfigandfreetype2?
Also turning off hinting looks kinda bad, at least with these default configs.
>>52230071
>What is the difference in these packages
*-ubuntu apply ubuntu patches to said packages. Since ubuntu have bretty good defaults you can make fonts look good with absolutley no hassle
>>52230181
holy crap name of that font, and how can change my background to black?
Best distro.
>>52230623
fix the size of your terminal or font, everything is on top of each other.
Mirin' uptime?
This is my
>>52229884
I think I'm doing everything correctly, but it still looks bad.
I guess I will have to try infinality.
Installed Arch this week, still have to tweak everything to perfection.
>>52231401
I'll take it that you've installed these packages from AUR it all went successfully, you've rebooted and it still is like it was - if this is the case try different hinting and antialiasing options. If this won't halp then I dunno
>pic is mine
>>52231624
Nah, in general, font changed and looks better. I thought it will fix these broken lines in promptm, but I guess it's just font problem, not rendering.
Anyway, thanks, it's much better now.
>>52229859
Done, thanks.

did u mean this all this time?
>>52231814
Yes
>>52231844
shit, nice atention to detail. Took me long to actually get it, anyways - I dunno how this theme works, whether it uses its own font or global/terminal monospace font, but changing it may help
