Hey team, how do I deal with a million tabs being open? Is there a firefox extension to help with 'power users' like me? I saw suspend tab, trying that now, any other suggestions?

Also, I'm not sure how firefox deals with 100+ tabs but I would think an extension like this would help. I only have 4GB, I don't want it all used up on tabs I don't visit for a week or more.

Then learn to use folders.
I pretty much save everything to the bookmarks bar in different folders. Have an extension that removes the names so I only see the icons until I mouse over them.

Down the years I've tried a few of these 'suspend' addons, and none of them seem to work entirely as advertised. Or more likely Fox is just flatout shit at managing memory no matter what addons you use. What I tend to do is use Tree Tab Style and just restart Fox when it starts to get sluggish (around 3gb). Fox is actually semi-intelligent these days and wont immediately load all your tabs when you restart.
Tab Tree is an up-and-comer alternative to Tree Tab Style that behaves a bit better, but it doesn't yet have collapsible trees.

Consider getting note-taking software. I use Tomboy for research, and a lot of links I'm not looking at immediately get stored in relevant pages there. Works better than conventional bookmarks for me, I can take notes on them that way too.

Whatever isn't quite bookmark worthy but something worth holding on to gets put into a tree that I unload tab (integrates pretty good together) and I have Fx Remember my tabs. The trees are minimizable and so stay out of the say.

I've never been able to find a good bookmark system, since it needs to integrate with FF completely. Tab Groups in FF works fine, however having 100+ tabs slows things down a bit.
