Overchan is just a slightly optimized for imageboards browser. Clover works fine for mobile Chan browsing
I strictly prefer Chanu. It's super stable, has no wasted whitespace like that one Clover version I tried and and doesn't seem to use much data.
What I dislike about it is that thread previews cut the most recent replies short, so you MUST open a thread, and that it randomly refreshes the board, while I'm browsing the threads.

Just downloaded v2.1.0, I don't see any of the freezing you guys keep on mentioning.
The only thing that needs to be fixed is that lack of scroll to top/bottom that was so handy in older versions.

As far as I know there are 3 open source, recently updated Chan browsers. Clover, which I haven't used for a long time. Chanu, which seems to be useful - you have to get it from F-Droid though because Google kicked it off Play. And finally, Overchan which supports a fuckloaad of imagboards and seems to have lots of feature. Get that one from F-Droid too, as the Google Play version does not have a built in board list, you have to write each one yourself.
Overchan and Chanu both (I think) support WebM, HTTPS, 4chanPass and other features. Does Clover these days? Is there any reason to use one over the other? It seems to me that Overchan is updated frequently, feature heavy, and likely the best choice.
