The Macbook air is by far the best, most robust and technologically marvelous piece of hardware to use if you are serious about gaming. The thin shape allows for maximum airflow because it takes up very little space, thus allowing more room for air (Fun fact: This is the reason it is called the macbook air.) It comes equipped with apple's special iRam, which uses quantum technology to read and write data at near light-speed, and has a logic board capable of computing millions of binary pulses in under a second.

Ignore the idiots saying gaming laptops are pointless. They are the kinds of people who honestly believe that if they do not have a use for something, then nobody else should. That said, find a laptop within your price range and look at benchmarks of the GPU.

You could pretty much sum this entire chart up as "Any thread about vidya, windows, or building a computer"
Vidya belongs on /v/, building a computer is below the minimum requirements to post on /g/, and windows is a botnet.
So in any case, OP should listen to >>52207192
and >>52206942.
Or if that costs too much, try a chromebook. You can get one for like $100, and it'll run Angry Birds like a pro.

Don't try to game on a laptop unless you absolutely have to. If you already have a desktop for gaming, and you need something for when you're on the go, that's fine, but don't use a laptop as your primary gaming machine.
You can build your own desktop that absolutely destroys the highest-end gaming laptops for half the price.
Do not buy a fucking Macbook for gaming. Not only do they lack dedicated GPUs, most games won't even run on OSX.
