The agency I work for uses it for out external facing site. I think our government is forcing using Drupal for every agency/department now.
My employers have had me using Drupal 7 since summer and it's alright. I don't focus on theming myself, we have another team for that, but it feels like theming with Drupal would be a fucking nightmare.

Some of my coworkers use drupal 7 but I don't do any of the php stuff. None of them have done anything with drupal 8 yet from what I'm aware of from asking around, so I'm pretty interested to hear peoples opinions on it if you've used it.
I'm also really surprised how far behind my coworkers are that they haven't even started playing with it yet even though it's been released.
My work is staying with Drupal 7 for now but I've been meaning to try out Drupal 8. I actually might setup a local version tonight to test it out.
Is there a decent amount of useful modules that are ready to go for Drupal 8 though? I can imagine a lot might not be working yet.
