My plan is to use it exclusively for 16-bit emulation, and buy a 2ds/ old 3ds etc for legit and online use.
The system shipped with 9.8, then smash upgraded it to 9.9 . I have never connected it to wifi.
I've tried to use Smashax but it just crashes the program gracefully instead of getting me to the homebrew channel.

yes, emunand is somewhat likely to break for new games. you already have to cryptofix 9.6 and higher cias. old games will remain playable and cryptofix till they break it (if they can, there's no saying they can or can't)

Windows runs at 15 fps dropping to 5 every 5 seconds, DOSBOX emulation it's useless, so there's not point in playing hacker.

Literally all I want to do is play NES, SNES, and Genesis games on this thing.
I don't know anyone else with a 3ds, so even if I buy a legit OoT cart I don't know how I'd get the proper hax data on there. Ironhax is no longer available, couldn't get Smashax to work, and Cubic Ninja is $80+ on ebay so at that point I might as well just get the flash cart which would maybe do other stuff too.

okay, you install gateway launcher trough a browser exploit, format an sdcard to image sysnand (your 3ds' storage). your format a cfw onto it, probably rxtools 2.6. then you inject fbi which you use to install cias. bbm if fbi doesn't work. there's a working tutorial on youtube from september or something. this is more than enough knowledge
oh and I'm not sure about snes emulators, there probably is one though. I'd give up on nes and genesis, but there's also something called a PC if you JUST want to emulate.
if your sysnand is on 9.2+ you're fucked either way since you have no entry points. hope for 10.3 kernel exploit into downgrade at that point. again /vg/hbg/. don't be a newfag etc etc. good luck anon!
