What would be your ideal computer tech channel
Content wise, etc.
>>
intro sequence lasts less than 5 seconds
total video length is less than 5 minute
gets straight to the point
provides links for additional information
no gimmicks, no catering to 12 year old audience
does it for free, doesn't ask me to subscribe or donate or follow or tweet or whatever
no annotations
no music

Clear explanations, no bullshit, short or no intro. Basically something like 2kliksphilip.

ill provide you with the opposite of the ideal channel, and you can work off that

>30 second intro, with poorly made photoshop animation, complete with lensflare running over text
>"hey guys"
>"please buy shit from [sponsor]"
>shitty music playing in background
>spends the next 10 minutes reading off the features list for the product, direct from the manufacturer's website
>spend the next 20 minutes giving a vague review where he doesn't dare to give his true opinion because the manufacturer wont send him anymore free shit
>"please like, subscribe, tell your friends, donate, check out my twitch stream, fellate me"
>>
i would like a stallman/fsf/gnu tech channel
not on youtube though, as it requires running non-free software and has a harmful copyright policy
instead, you should be able to find these uploads as downloadable video files (not in mp4) on fsf.org, stallman.org or gnu.org

meh. This guy has no idea how business works. AMD wouldn't have even created Freesync if NVIDIA hadn't built G-sync, and why blame NVIDIA for stupid shit a game developer does (like using a couple-hundred polys for a concrete barrier)?

The real bad thing NVIDIA did, that is totally worth complaining about, was the shitty Optimus drivers for linux - I don't know if that situation has been resolved even to this day.

I like Eli the computer guy. He does not review computer parts he explains concepts like TCP/IP networking. He breaks it down very well most of his videos are between 30-1hr. I started watching him recently too learning alot. Anyone know more channels like him?

While you're right, DP 1.3 would have had adaptive sync abilities even without G-Sync.
Freesync was a response, but it was using technologies that were in the pipeline anyway (or already existing when it comes to laptops, adaptive sync is the future method in laptops of saving battery life)
