And they just updated the Steelseries Engine 3 to include support for it, so now you can rice it to all hell with lights and logos with the latest software if you're into that shit.
Just got a rival 100 its OK but my main complaint would be the dpi slider jumps from 1000 > 2000 > 4000

Its amazing. Its so customizable and is great for playing games. I use it to play csgo and have had no complaints.

I went with rival because logtiech dropped the ball on quality by redesigning their mice to appeal to the raz0r market. Search any current logitech mouse g/400/502/602 and you'll find countless threads about how the middle mouse/leftclick/rightclick fails after 5-6 months. My old logitech mice are still alive today with no issues, but i've had to RMA my g602 twice before i called it quits and got the SS. Have had it for 2 months now and good so far.

you can turn off the light, and otherwise the peripheral-ricing is minimal.
plus, the sensor is the best I've ever used.

I didn't really like the deathadder but I think the g502 is a great mouse as well as the g5. logitech makes great mice it's everything else that sucks

I just bought rival 100 because my roccat military died and I needed something quickly. The build quality is ok, the sensor is ok, but the lack of control over LOD is an embarrassment. As a replacement for a while rival 100 is sufficient but I'm waiting until roccat back from repair.

i own a steelseries rival OP. i love it aside from one thing. might be the way i hold my mouse, but i can't reach the 1st mouse button on the side of the mouse comfortably at all. always have to contort if i'm gonna use it. not really a big big deal, but i wish they moved the mouse buttons back a tiny bit or made them equally sized. shits dumb.
In my experience it is a really good mouse.

Recently bought Rival 300, it's pretty good, feels solid, haven't had the chance to use it on my own PC so haven't tested it in games, but the size and button placement seems good, the side rubbers should be better than on earlier Rivals
