Currently sitting here waiting (not too hopeful) on getting the password to a wpa2 network. Using a word list packed with kali linux called "rockyou" after capturing the handshake.
Does anyone on /g have:
-a wordlist with more passwords in a format that Australian ISPs use (optus, telstra, etc) or;
-know the general format and content of these passwords (if the randomly generated ones have numbers, letters, upper/lowercase) since that would save heaps of time is they some are like
&l&l&l&n&n&n where &l is letter and &n is number.
most of them are easily identified by their default ssid eg OPTUSXXXXXXX NETGEARXX or some shit
Google isn't too helpful since trying to find what router/modem each ISP gives by default brings up old forums and mixed information.

Leaving the meme aside, would fbi be able to do anything to me? I live in Europe.

Cracking WiFi passwords is a crime now?
>>52170670
Yes. They have the jurisdiction to arrest you because you're breaking an international law.
>>52170673
you're basically raping someone's router/network...

Not in Europe

That's a DDoS attack. The host itself shouldn't notice anything from bruteforce.

probably, but considering theyre using kali on a usb/vm and terrestrial wifi traffic isnt logged by the government or any authorities

youd have to be trying to hack your local police stations wifi while sitting on the lawn outside for them to do anything.

cracking the handshake can be done offline/with no network. and if OP got the handshake without forcibly de-authing their connection, nothing would have happened on the targets end.
its getting stare-raped, in feminist terms. so not getting raped.
Can someone answer op's question?
>>52170766
please do
>>52170719
"So not getting raped" Omg, at least give us a trigger warning before you go typing something like that.

australian passphrase... hmm... have you tried 'cunt'?

check gpuhash.me, they tell the password contents of TELSTRAXXXXXX and BIGPOND XXXXXX, both are 10 long hex uppercase
and all 10 long uppercase hex combinations is too big to generate a dictionary for in kali (~300TB) soooo yeah.
you could pay that site 0.5BTC but thats a bit much for a random wifi password, however bigpond connections are sometimes the 120mbps down package if you got the pass
for all EU and NA peoples, 100mbps is like the holy grail down here in australia since it can cost like $100+ monthly and the upload speed is only like 3-4mbps

What the fuck do you want? If it's a default password you're looking for then google it. Generate your own wordlists too, there is no "general format"

not if he is doing it for " educational purposes only "
